Priced on volume.
Nothing else.
Every plan carries every feature — the API, the SMTP relay, Pharos sending IPs, enforced DMARC alignment, the full event log. The only question is how much you send.

What volume buys you
The bigger you get, the less each email costs.
There is no negotiation and no sales call to unlock a better rate. The discount is published, it applies the moment you change plan, and it is the same for everyone.
- $0.00090 starter 10,000/mo
- $0.00058 growth 50,000/mo
- $0.00053 scale 150,000/mo
- $0.00040 volume 500,000/mo
When your sending changes.
Three moments where an email provider usually costs you something. Here is what happens instead.
-
Your app never stops sending.
Transactional mail is not a campaign you can retry tomorrow. Pass your volume on a paid plan and we move you to the next tier for that month and email you — no hard stop, no penalty rate, and no password reset that quietly fails at two in the morning.
-
Nothing is billed by surprise.
The free plan pauses at 3,000 rather than charging a card you never gave us. Every tier change is emailed the moment it happens, so you find out from us and not from an invoice at the end of the month.
-
Nothing is locked in.
Monthly billing only. Move up, move down or leave — immediately, prorated, with no notice period and no exit call. There is no annual discount because a discount for paying a year ahead is a discount for being locked in.
Everything, on every plan.
Including the free one. There is no feature behind a higher tier, no add-on line item, and no "contact sales to enable."

Questions people actually ask.
Something not answered here? Email us — a person replies.
What counts as one email?
One recipient. A message addressed to three people uses three of your monthly allowance. Attempted sends that bounce count; sends blocked by your own suppression list before they leave do not.
What happens if I go over my plan?
On a paid plan, nothing stops. You move to the next tier for that month and we email you when it happens. On the free plan sending pauses at 3,000, because there is no card on file to charge.
Do unused emails roll over?
No. Your allowance resets on your billing date. If your volume is seasonal, move down a plan in the quiet months — changes are immediate and prorated.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes, and it carries every feature. 3,000 emails a month with a 100/day cap, no card required, no expiry. The daily cap exists to keep the plan usable rather than abusable.
Do I pay extra for a dedicated IP?
Every account sends from IPs dedicated to Pharos rather than a public shared pool. An IP isolated to your account alone is available on request, and is worth discussing above roughly 100,000 emails a month, where your own sending is enough to hold a reputation.
Why is there no annual discount?
Because a discount for paying a year ahead is a discount for being locked in, and the listed price should be the price. If you need an annual invoice for procurement reasons, ask and we will issue one.
